Once upon a time, years and years ago, there was an awkward teenager pretending to be a boy, and they were very sad because they were bullied out of watching Magic Knight Rayearth. Before the teen appeared another magical girl anime on their girlfriend’s bookshelf. It had a regal bearing and a distinctive style.
